Rocky Mountain Air Solutions

A Name Change, a New Brand and Driving Website Traffic

For longstanding Magnetika client, Rocky Mountain Air Solutions, Magnetika helped launch the rebrand of their company from US Welding to Rocky Mountain Air, after another agency failed. Magnetika was selected to fill the strategy gap by developing a strong brand message (Voice Identity) and creating a sound strategy to successfully navigate the name change — without losing, or confusing, customers. The impetus? Over their 90-year history, RMA’s business had changed from simply providing welding services, to offering a full suite of industrial, medical and specialty gases such as oxygen, helium, etc. The leaders of the company felt that their differentiation from competitors was their “dependability” and “flawless execution” — two commonly used and non-differentiated terms. To add a new twist and make the messaging stand out, Magnetika came up with the unique Value Proposition of “Flawless Dependability,” which is now reflected prominently on the homepage of their website and throughout all marketing materials. This new Voice Identity became the essence of their brand. It is reflected front and center on their website, in their blogs and on all company materials.

We signed on with Magnetika so that we’d have a partner with the expertise and strategy to help us drive our marketing efforts. Over the years, we’ve found the team to be responsive, thoughtful and they have helped us understand the results we see for all of our efforts, adjusting as needed in order to bring our brand recognition upward. For an industrial organization, it is not always easy or obvious what the best approach to the marketing function should be, and Magnetika has certainly been our partner in building what we need.”
